Ghosh quoted Harsh Goenka's tweet, saying she "so needed to see this today."
"It’s OK to cancel an appointment. It’s OK to not reply to that call. It’s OK to change your mind. It’s OK to want to be alone. It’s OK to take a holiday. It’s OK to do nothing. It’s OK to just chill. It’s OK to stay OK."

That's the mantra Debjani Ghosh 'needed' on Thursday, and she found it in RPG Group Chairman Harsh Goenka's tweet.

Quoting Goenka's tweet, the President of the National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM), thanked him for sharing the message, adding, "Stay awesome always."

Goenka began his Thursday by tweeting an inspirational message on the importance of taking time for oneself and putting themselves first.

"It’s OK to cancel an appointment. It’s OK to not reply to that call. It’s OK to change your mind. It’s OK to want to be alone. It’s OK to take a holiday. It’s OK to do nothing. It’s OK to just chill. It’s OK to stay OK. #ThursdayThoughts, " he tweeted.

Scrolling down her timeline, we guessed the reason behind her #Thursday mood. And the weather gods in the National Capital Region (NCR) had a role to play, as the tech evangelist raved about the perfect weather that she thought was meant for a 'great book, coffee ... and some day dreaming.' Unfortunately, reality beckoned in the form of '6 VC meetings', she wrote. The NCR woke up to a wet morning, with rain and thunder.

Ghosh, who is the first woman to be at the helm of affairs in the tech body, has kept her 18K+ Twitter followers updated with inspiring posts, pictures and praise for most things tech during the pandemic. And her timeline is also dotted with some funny memes and wildlife pictures.

The pandemic has led to a rise in the number of people battling mental illness, and there is an increasing need to recognise the importance of taking time off. Many business leaders and agents of change have articulated the need for drawing boundaries as people continue to work from home.
